I offered you a big cup to fill your soul up
but you didn’t see the treasure
as you looked for other pleasures
now you can’t find a way to quench your thirst
thinking you could find better when you had the best first
trying so hard to satisfy your desires
yet it seems no one else can stoke your fire
should have taken that cup
now time has passed you up
as you stand there regretting
fate will have you witness someone else’s cup
be filled soul satisfyingly up
